Gippsland Regiment Bridge Naming – Remembrance Day
On Remembrance Day (11th November) this year the Prospect Hill Drive Bridge in Narre Warren will be named for the Gippsland Regiment the locally raised and based Militia Unit which served in the Papua New Guinea campaign during World War 2. The battalion was numbered the 52nd Battalion to preserve the history of the battalion
