Can I Join The RSL?

YES, as a member of the RSL, you will enjoy the privilege of having joined one of Australia’s oldest and most revered organisations, committed to selfless service on behalf of the Nation. An organisation which is dedicated to honouring those who have served our Nation through military service and which believes that the car of veterans and their dependents remains its core role.

Types of Membership

 

Service Member

A service member is a person who has served at least 90 days in the Australian Defence Force, or the defence forces of one of our Allies, in the regular, reservist or national service.

Affiliate Member

This type of membership is available for family members or relations of an ex-serviceman or woman who is eligible to joinig the RSL as a Service Member. Its purpose is to provide a form of membership that maintains the bloodlines of those who have served their country in both war and peace. Now available for serving or retired members of the Police, SES, Ambulance or Fire Brigade services.

Social Member

Available to Australian citizens that are unable to join one of the above membership categories. You are still able to enjoy all the facilities and amenities of the RSL and will be encouraged to participate as a full member.

Community Member

This type of membership is available for those people not wanting to join as one of the above but would like to use some of the amenities and facilities that the RSL has to offer, such as bingo, bistro and bars, entertainment, gaming etc. but have no access to full membership rights.
